Pre-installation inspection: Ensure the wall surface is clean and level, with no loose or peeling areas.
Use tools designed for wallpaper or wall fabric installation; a professional-grade imported wallpaper knife is recommended.
First, apply wall primer (base coat) to the wall surface using a roller, and prepare the seamless wall fabric adhesive according to the mixing ratio. (Note: Add a total of 2.5 kg of water to 2 kg of adhesive in stages. First, mix the adhesive thoroughly without adding water. Second, add 0.5 kg of water and mix thoroughly. Third, add another 0.5 kg of water and mix thoroughly. Finally, add the remaining water and mix until uniform. One bucket of adhesive covers 25–30 square meters.)
Once the base coat has dried, begin applying wall-fabric adhesive with a roller, starting from an inner corner; typically, you should apply adhesive to one wall section at a time (rolling evenly from top to bottom) before hanging the fabric.
Position the wall fabric vertically against the wall, aligning the top edge with the ceiling line; use an object to support the roll at the base so the bottom edge aligns evenly with the top of the skirting board.
Unroll the fabric and use a smoothing tool (squeegee) to press it against the wall, working from the inner corner outward; ensure the fabric is aligned vertically before proceeding with the rest of the installation.
If the inner corner is perfectly straight, you can continue the rolling and smoothing process without cutting; if the corner is not straight, perform an overlap cut at the corner.
Working in a team of two increases speed: measure the distance between inner corners, cut the fabric with a slight allowance, then have two people hold the ends taut and smooth the fabric onto the wall from top to bottom and from the inner corner outward.
Wipe away any excess adhesive with a clean, damp towel.
Conduct a thorough inspection after the entire room is finished; any air bubbles or blisters can be remedied using a household steam iron.
